Since the Festival's inception in 1998, the eclectic mix of orchestral, rock, choral, blues, opera, folk, jazz etc, has won the hearts of both locals and visitors alike and become one of the star events in Dartmouth's calendar. It appeals to all ages, from the delightful elderly couple seen sedately jiving in the Avenue Gardens, to toddlers watching their older siblinings in their shcool choirs. | Les Petits Magasins | Whilst living in Guernsey, Trish Thomas became a founder member of The Guernsey Enterprise Retail Network which was established as a mechanism for small local producers without permanent retail premises to showcase and sell their products. Retail events, named "Les Petits Magasins", are held on a regular basis where the public are able to browse through these "little shops" and find a whole range of products that are not available anywhere else in Guernsey.
